Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage).

2. Technical, no consent needed

They are needed for the site to work and never leave your browser: “cookie-consent” (remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies), “portfolio.lang” (chosen language) and “pp-theme” (light or dark theme). They are kept in local storage and do not expire until you delete them. In addition, the private area uses the session cookie “pp_session” only when the owner logs in.

3. Analytics, only with your consent

Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager (GTM-PM46RKN7). “_ga” distinguishes visitors and “_ga_<ID>” keeps the session state; both expire after 2 years. Provider: Google. None of these cookies are set until you press “Accept”.

4. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, as easily as you gave it. If you withdraw consent, the Analytics cookies are deleted.

5. YouTube videos

Videos on the project pages are shown with a thumbnail served from this website. The YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) only loads when you press the video; from that moment Google’s privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. From your browser

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the cookies used by the site change. The date of the last revision is shown at the top.
